Jade + Kevin | Grosvenor Pulford Wedding Venue

On 1st July 2022, I was lucky enough to be invited to join Jade and Kevin to capture every moment of their special day.

The day began at the Grosvenor Pulford in Cheshire, where Jade got ready with the help of hairdresser Phe Hair Design and make-up artist Sicily Makeup. Jade then travelled to the ceremony in a spectacular silver Rolls Royce to marry her childhood sweetheart Kevin.

They married in the ancient parish Church of St Peter’s, Plenstall, which was founded in 1558. The church can be found down an isolated country lane in the heart of Cheshire - it's idyllic and a dream ceremony location.

The church is of Gothic Revival Architecture and is very popular for weddings. Its surrounding open fields were the perfect backdrop for some stunning wedding photos of the bride and groom.

The guests then joined the newly married couple back at their wedding reception at The Grosvenor Pulford. An extraordinary four-star privately owned hotel and spa in Cheshire, a picture-perfect wedding venue.

The guests enjoyed the sweetest afternoon tea with sparkling prosecco, surrounded by family and friends.

How did you meet?

Kev and I were introduced through my friend Edel who met him and his friends when they were on a lad's holiday in Greece way back in 2008.

What's your proposal story?

In 2010, we went on holiday to Gran Canaria, where Kev proposed to me in a restaurant overlooking the beach. It was such a special candle+lit moment. Instantly, I said yes!

What were you most excited about on your wedding day?

To finally make it official after 14 whole years together!

What’s the most vivid memory of your wedding day?

Saying 'I do' while looking into each other's eyes, holding hands at the altar — such a special and unforgettable moment. It was like no one else was there.

What was your first dance song?

We chose Halo by Beyoncé, which was also played walking down the aisle. It was our song from when we first got together. we played this also while walking down the aisle it was our song from when we first go

What's your advice to anyone planning a wedding?

You should do what you want to do and don’t try to please others. Remember, it’s your big day, no one else’s.

What was it like working with me?

Jane was very organised and friendly. It was great to meet with her before the big day to discuss the day from start to finish.

She wanted to know all the guests' names and connections - this made it a much more personable approach. All our guests said how amazing she was and we were overjoyed by our beautiful pictures.
